Hey. Do me a favor. If you see anything, Guards or city officials, moving or gathering en masse today, let me know where. I may or may not have access to my device. Just keep your eyes open.
( The city has thrown plenty at Chapel since she got here but this isn't anything like before. This time, she's been ripped away for "experimentation" and said experimentation has run the gamut from having sex with other submissives to being dominated by someone else while others watch. She hasn't seen Gabriel since being rounded up for the experiment but she imagines that he's been dealing with the same thing.
The last experiment, however, places her with someone who has to push her past the limits she's comfortable sharing with other people. It isn't their fault; the city wouldn't let up until there was more and more and more even though she hadn't wanted it and when they finally let her free of it she doesn't know what to do. The city corrals her into another room, still naked, and this one simply has a bed.
She has no idea what this one is about but at least there aren't whips or handcuffs or anything immediately visible that might mean she's in for another round. Maybe this is just the downtime room? Hell if she knows. )
[ At first, he resents being separated from Christine simply for having had no say in the matter. She's a soldier, capable of looking after herself. Once processed at the facility, he wonders how she'll deal with it. If she's gotten rusty at strangling down the trauma. Then the experiments start. The more he undergoes, and further hears about, the more uneasy he becomes with her absence.
They should have no cause to kill her — Christine can play the game. But they might introduce her to someone who can fulfill her needs, someone other than him, and that he can't tolerate.
It gets under his skin more than any of the punishment he inflicts or endures. It's after an overstimulation exercise that they shuffle him down the corridor opposite the direction he came, and into a new room. They let him dress at least. Nothing to make of that, he's learned. It's down to however unkind and/or impatient that particular set of guards is feeling.
Lorca grunts, shaking off their grip as they unburden themselves of him and shut the door. He rights himself, and registers the blemishes on her skin a split second before the familiar shape of her body, her shock of pale hair. ]

Tell me something nice about her and I will give you some good news that will keep you scheming for a very long time.

I've lost more arguments to her than anybody else across two dimensions.
Three if you include this one.
